Kelvedon Academy Sports Day Update 15/07/14: Photos from the day!

Yesterday, the children at Kelvedon St Mary's Academy had their annual sports day. There were a variety of competitive events for the infants to complete in the morning and the juniors in the afternoon. Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to the spectators who supported the children and the adults who helped to run the events. Mr Faithfull

Aquathlon

Congratulations to all of the children who attended today's aquathlon competition at Home Farm Primary School. Aquathlon is a combination of swimming and running. I was extremely impressed with the sporting performance of all of our competitors. The following children received a medal for finishing in the top three based on the time they completed the course.

• Will Johnson - boys' year 4 - 3rd
• Ellie Gee - girls' year 4 - 2nd
• Isabelle McPherson - girls' year 5 - 3rd
• Kate Shepperd - girls' year 6 - 2nd
• Nathaniel Downes - boys' year 6 - 1st
• Cameron Newton - boys' year 6 - 2nd

Our individual and collective team achievement at this event was excellent and I was very proud of our competitors.
