Football : Kelvedon 5 v Friar's Grove 1

Kelvedon played an exciting home game against Friar's Grove today and emerged as 5 v 1 victors. The goals were shared around the team and some of our passing and counter attacking football was very impressive. Everyone who played for the team today made an important contribution and has helped us to keep our winning run going. Mr Faithfull

Boys' and Girls' Football County Playoff Champions

Our boys' and girls' football teams had an exciting day in Harlow competing in the Essex County playoff finals. Both sides played fantastically well and prevailed as champions of the entire Essex region. This is an unprecedented success for our school and also the first time a school has won both the girls' and boys' competition - not bad as there are almost 1000 schools in the area. Both teams will now go on to play in the Southern England regional finals in March. What a fantastic achievement for our school and it was great to see the teams so thrilled with their success. Football match vs North Primary

Our football team played a match against North Primary this afternoon and ended up 5 v 0 winners. In the words of the opposition manager, "Your team are a joy to watch," - praise indeed! Whilst the match was taking place, the children in year five were gathering notes ready to write a match report later in the week - watch this space for full details. Mr Faithfull
