Cross Country races

This time last year the cross country event was cancelled due to heavy snow.  Today, in temperatures well above the norm, a team of 12 children took on the cross country event held at Colchester Rugby Club.

Running in groups of 80-100 children each time our Year 5 and 6 girls and boys showed tremendous spirit and a keenness to perform well.  Every Kelvedon competitor ran well and, I am proud to say, respectful of all other runners too.

I am looking forward to a few of these runners moving onto the next stage in cross country competition.
