Football: Kelvedon 7 v Prettygate 1
Kelvedon vs Prettygate
On Tuesday 10th of
March, Prettygate travelled to Kelvedon to play an exciting game of football. Joe
and Felix both scored two goals and Alfie and Nathan both scored one each with
an additional unlucky own goal. Prettygate got one back. Both teams played exceptionally well but at
the full time whistle it was Kelvedon who came out on top with a victory of
seven one. A big thank you to Mr Ladlow for refereeing. Written by Joe and Alfie
Sport vs Monkwick Junior School
Our sports teams had mixed results on a recent visit to Monkwick Junior school in Colchester.
Our netball team, coached by Miss Reece, ran out 9 v 1 winners with several great goals and a powerful all-round team performance.
Our football team, despite playing well and creating several great chances in the first half, ended up on the wrong end of a one nil defeat.
The children particularly enjoyed playing both sports on the same evening and travelling to the school together on the school minibus. This helped to create a real team environment where they could support each other. Thank you to those parents who supported both teams.
