The third and final coaching session provided by Essex Football
Association for our girls' squad took place this afternoon. This session
consisted of a variation of football tennis to encourage good control,
accurate passing and volleying followed by some three-a-side games on
small pitches. Once again the girls had a great time and everyone took a
full part in the activities. The Essex FA coaches have been so
impressed by the attitude, courtesy and skill that the girls have
displayed that everyone in attendance tonight received a medal as a
momento of their time with us. In turn we presented Kevin and Sam with a
signed photograph of the squad which they have told us will be
displayed at the Essex FA headquarters. Finally I once again have to say
how proud I am of our girls squad - they have represented our school
superbly and as a result Essex FA have already agreed to deliver some
similar coaching sessions in the next football season. Mr Barnes
