Boys' Football v Montgomery Junior School

Our boys' football team have kept up their recent good form with another victory. They visited Montgomery Junior School in Colchester last Thursday, and recorded a 5 v 1 win. Fred Ambrose scored a hat trick and Will Johnson and Harvey Murton scored one each. Congratulations boys! Thank you to Mr Barnes, for organising the match and managing the team, and Mrs Abbott for assisting with the transport in my absence.

Boys' Football League Match vs Gosbecks

Another successful football match today which resulted in a one nil win away at Gosbecks Primary School from Colchester; a solid performance from the team where we controlled the match and created plenty of chances. Colchester Blackwater Partnership Cross Country

Children from years 5 and 6 completed in the annual cross country tournament this afternoon at Colchester Rugby Club. The children really had to call on all of their resilience due to the awful weather conditions. There were some fantastic individual achievements including a 3rd (Zach Downes), 4th (Reece Dolman) and 6th (Will Johnson) place finish for our year five boys and a 4th (Amy Pears) position in the year five girls' race. Congratulations to everyone who took part in the event!

Another fantastic performance by our boys' football team this afternoon! All the players in the squad contributed to a 5 v 2 victory against Monkwick Junior School. Well played everyone!

Girls' Football Match v Prettygate Primary School

A super performance by our girls' football team saw them defeat Prettygate Primary School by eight goals to nil this afternoon. All the girls played their part in this resounding victory - congratulations! Year 5 / 6 2015 Football Competition

Earlier today Kelvedon Academy Football Squad played an incredible match against North Primary School that resulted in an undeniably outstanding score of 11-1 to Kelvedon! Congratulations to the Football Squad for such a terrific match.

Boys' Football League Match

The boys' football team visited Heathlands School in West Bergholt near Colchester on Wednesday 14th January. In a very closely contested match St Mary's came from 2-1 down to win 3-2. For some of the team it was their first opportunity to play in the school team and the whole squad performed superbly. As we have come to expect, all the boys were super ambassadors for our school. We will have more fixtures in the near future to give our squad further chances to represent the school.
