Kelvedon Aquathlon

This Wednesday Kelvedon hosted their first ever aquathlon - an event where competitors need to swim and then run. We invited Colchester High, Home Farm and Prettygate to our school and ran races for boys and girls in years 5 and 6. 5F took on the role of  'games makers' completing a number of tasks - they were brilliant and other schools commented on their great attitude and friendly nature. A special thank you to Mr Barnes, Mrs Abbott, Mr Taylor, Mrs McPherson and our PTFA for helping the event to run smoothly. The aquathlon is a tough event made harder by the high temperature on Wednesday and our children all competed very well. Overall we were the winning school!
