Girls' Essex Coaching - week 2

The Football Association are promoting this week as 'Girls Football Week' and the second of our three coaching sessions delivered by Essex Football Association took place this afternoon. This week the girls practised turning, shielding the ball and tackling through a series of highly enjoyable coaching drills. Our two coaches were again very complimentary about both the skill levels and attitude demonstrated by our players and are very keen to see as many of the girls continuing to play long into the future. If any of the girls want advice on joining a football club, I will be very pleased to help and I'll even come along with them to their initial sessions if required ! The next Essex F.A training session takes place on Monday 9th May (next week is Bank Holiday).  Mr Barnes.
