In recognition of the commitment our school makes to girl's
football, Essex Football Association have organised three coaching
sessions for our girls football squad and the first of these took place
today. Twenty-two girls took part and this session focused mainly on
control and match play. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the training drills
that the coaches (Kevin and Sam) introduced and displayed great
listening skills, enthusiasm and desire to learn. I was proud to be told
by the coaches that the girls were a joy to work with and that Kelvedon
St Mary's was one of the very best schools that they have visited. Well
done girls, once again you have shown yourselves to be brilliant
ambassadors. The next two sessions take place on Monday April 25th and Monday May 9th - if you haven't signed up but would like to attend, let me know as soon as possible. Mr Barnes.
