Sportshall Indoor Athletic Event 18/01/17

A group of Year 6 children took part in an indoor athletics event at Essex University today.  They competed in many different events ranging from short distance running to long distance relays, triple jumping, speed bouncing and long jumping.

As always the support they gave each other was brilliant and I'm extremely pleased to say that finishing third puts Kelvedon St Mary's through into the next round of competition in a fortnights time.

Many thanks to all who helped today, we were joined by Mr Faithfull and Mr Walsh. Extremely grateful to Mr Barnes who rescued us with last minute transport.
