Cross Country race

A team of 16 runners set out to compete in the rescheduled Cross Country event today.  Running for Year five and six in group races, the children displayed determination and competed well.

Not an easy event to compete in but every child did the school and themselves proud, with all finishing in the top half of their group and two completing their race in the top ten.

Many thanks to Mr Walsh and Miss Rushen for supporting the children this afternoon.  Special thanks to Mrs Hale for helping out with additional transport and to those parents who supported from the sidelines.
