Kelvedon St Mary's - Regional Football Winners!
Today our school football team achieved their greatest success ever by successfully winning the South East England regional finals in Dartford. The tournament was made up of the best school from twelve counties in the South East of England. After easing through the group stage with an unbeaten record, the team won their semi-final before defeating Southwater (representing Sussex) in a penalty shootout. I am ever so proud of the team for playing with such confidence - they really looked like they enjoyed themselves and hopefully will remember this day for a long time! We can now look forward to the national finals later this year where we will compete for the prize of best team in the whole country. What an amazing achievement!
