House Matches 2017

Yesterday saw a school event taking place on a beautiful sunny morning.  Every year, KS2 take part in House matches to determine an overall house winner.  For the first time, Year 1 and 2 also participated in this much anticipated event.

Every child competed in an activity to win points for their respective houses.  A wide range of events are organised and run by the staff enabling all students to compete in some way.  The competitions took the form of a netball tournament, a football tournament, an art competition, juggling, a quiz, a cricket tournament, team building, a sewing competition, battle of the bands, a sculpture competition and a very popular bootcamp style race.  Points were awarded for 1st - 4th place and the results are currently being collated with the winning house to be announced in Gold Book Assembly.

An excellent morning was had by all.  Many thanks to all the staff for wholeheartedly supporting this fantastic event.  The children had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed all the activities arranged.

Photos to follow with the announcement of the winner.
